Theta Chi Fraternity – Alpha Kappa Chapter
Welcome to the website for the Alpha Kappa chapter of Theta Chi fraternity (West Virginia University). Our fraternity prides itself on its ability to help young men of character to achieve the best college experience possible. Our maxim states “Alma Mater First and Theta Chi for Alma Mater.” This definitely sums up our commitment to excellence academically. As a fraternity, we strive to be above the All Men’s GPA because we realize that although college is the “best four years of your life,” it is also the four years that will determine the rest of your life. We Theta Chi’s are also noted for our campus involvement. We’ve built a reputation as one of the top fraternities on our campus. We won both homecoming and Greek Week in 2008 and have placed no worse than 3rd in those two events over the past two years. Of course, athletic and social events tend to be very popular among the brother. We have many socials throughout the year including paired events with sororities during Homecoming and Greek Week, socials, and formals. We also participate in a variety of intramural sports on campus, including football and basketball.
