OFFICER DUTIES

EXECUTIVE BOARD

President

The President is reponsible for the supervision of all of the chapters endeavors. He is the external face for relations with Nationals, the University, Sororities, and all other capus organizations.

Eexecutive Vice President

The Executive Vice President of the chapter is in charge of the committee system, committee chairmen, officer notebooks, Standards Board, and all internal communications.

Vice President of Communications

The Vice President of Communications is responsible for all fraternity correspondance, communications, and record keeping for the chapter. He has custody and is responible for the minute book, roster book, attendance records, and other chapter documents. He is also responsbile for maintaining communication lines between the fraternity, the national chapter, and the university.

Vice President of Finance

The Vice President of Finance is responsible for collecting all fees, dues, assessments, and fines. He shall collect all new member registration and initiation fees for the secretary. He shall be responsible for establishing and following a budget for each academic year.

Marshal

The Marshal is responsible for new member education and guiding new members to become good brothers.

Vice President of Recruitment – Responsible for recruiting new members, organizing rush events, and distributing invitations to join the fraternity.

ALPHA KAPPA COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

Standards Board Chairman – Reponsible for overseeing the standards board, choosing it’s members, and settling disputes between borthers.

Asst Rrecruitment Chairman – Helps the Rush Chairman with his duties.

Scholarship Chairman – Responsible for the academic success of the brothers.

House Manager – Responsible for the matience and upkeep of the house along with improving it.

Alumni Relations Chairman – Responsible for all Alumni communications and organizing OX Roast.

Brotherhood Chairman – Responsible for planning events to increase brotherhood including intramurals and retreats.

Philanthropy Chairman – Responsible for planning and organizing our Philanthrophy. Also responsible for communication with Sororities about their philanthrophys.

Community Service Chairman – Responsible for planning the chapters community service events.

Fundraising Chairman – Responsible for planning the chapters fundraising operations.

IFC Representative – Reponsible for correspondance between the Fraternity and the Inter-Fraternity Council.

Social Chairman – Reponsible for planning all social events.

Chief Information Officer – Reponsible for the matienance and upkeep of the website and the gin system.
